This hands on class is designed for fun! Students will learn how to cut glass, lay it out in creative patterns, and then solder together to create an 8" panel. Glass included! Students are to wear long pants and closed toe shoes. This is a 2day workshop 02/27 & 03/05/12 Additional Materials: Safety glasses, glass cutter or glass nippers(not the same thing as TILE nippers), Running pliers, Soldering iron(we'll discuss in the 1st class not needed until 2nd class), 1/2 ceiling tile or small piece of plywood to work on at least 10" square, Small tea towel or buffing rag, WEAR YOUR GLASSES!
