New Year
More Choices
More Locations.  More Opportunities.

To meet our residents’ requests, we’ve added a new location to our current 21 schools, center, and 40+ off-campuses. Starting this term, Walter C. Young Middle Community School will offer classes at West Broward High School in Pembroke Pines. See some of the new classes listed below.

This past November, we celebrated an Open House at the Village Multipurpose Center in Sunrise that features adult education. It’s a one-stop place for adults to gain the skills necessary to earn a General Education Development (GED) high school diploma. There are also English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL), and Family Literacy programs. Another feature is free childcare for program participants. For more information, please call 754-321-7600.

Broward Community Schools (BCS) are ringing in the New Year by adding a myriad of new classes to the nearly 800 classes currently being offered in response to community needs and requests. From gaining insights on relationships, making home repairs on a budget, and dealing with the current real estate market to gaining an edge in job hunting and interviewing, there’s a class for everyone.

We’ve even added another location to meet residents’ requests. Starting with the new term, Walter C. Young Middle Community School will offer classes at West Broward High School in Pembroke Pines.

BCS continues to provide a wide variety of career enhancing opportunities, ranging from introductory computer classes to graphic and web design classes that provide students with an economical means to learn or to up-date their skills.

Below is just a sample of the new additions. For a complete listing of the hundreds of other classes offered throughout Broward County for students of all ages, please click here.
