2012 Summer Co-Enrolled Classes

Worried about not graduating on time with your class?  Need to raise your GPA or make up a credit so you can receive your high school diploma with your classmates?   There’s help for any high school student who is determined to graduate on time!

Co-enrolled classes are available to any high school student currently attending a public or private Broward County school.  Classes are offered in the core academic areas: English, Math, Science and Social Studies.

Session #1 - Term D (Open to all students with Priority given to seniors graduating by June 29, 2012)


•    Registration:  May 21st  - May 29th (Priority given to Seniors planning on graduating by June 29, 2012)
•    Session Dates:  May 29th - June 27th   (Monday - Thursday - 4 hours per day – EVENINGS ONLY)
•    Total Days:  18 days (Students must be in attendance first class, Tuesday-May 29, 2012)

•    Attendance/Withdrawal Policy:
      ➢    Student must remain in class for four (4) hours per class session. 
      Failure to remain in class for the four (4) hours will result in an absence.
      ➢    The total maximum allowable absences are four (4) days.
      ➢    Withdrawal:  On the 5th absence the student will be withdrawn from the course.
      ➢    No excused absences.

•    How to enroll:  You must be referred by your school’s guidance counselor or designee and have the current 2011-2012 Co-Enrolled Admission Form with you when you register.  The counselor or designee must select the appropriate location to enroll for class(es), complete and sign the 2011-2012 Co-Enrolled Admission form and give you the original form to present to the enrolling school at the time of registration. Session #2 – Term S (Open to all students)


•    Registration:

June 18th – July 2nd (Seniors planning on graduating in August)
June 25th – July 2nd (Rising 4th year students/potential 2013 graduates and underclassmen)

•    Session Dates: July 2nd – August 1st
 (Monday - Thursday - 4 hours per day – DAY AND EVENING CLASSES)
•    Total Days:  18 days (Students must be in attendance first class, Monday-July 2, 2012)
•    Summer School Graduation:  Thursday-August 9, 2012
