Co-enrolled Classes

2016 Summer Co-Enrolled Classes

Worried about not graduating on time with your class?  Need to raise your GPA or make up a credit so you can receive your high school diploma with your classmates?   There’s help for any high school student who is determined to graduate on time!

Co-enrolled classes are available to any high school student currently attending a public or private school in Broward County.  Classes are offered in the core academic areas: English, Math, Science and Social Studies.

Session #1 – Term C 2016 (Open to all students)

Session Date:

• Wednesday, April 27th   – Thursday, August 11th  (Open Enrollment)
• Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday (two(2) days per week)– 4.0 hours per day – EVENINGS ONLY

Registration Dates:

Seniors (12th Grade) Registration Schedule:
• Wednesday, April 27th   – Thursday, June 30th
• Priority is given to seniors planning on graduating by Thursday, August 11, 2016
• All seniors planning on graduating by August 11th must be registered and entered class by Thursday, June 30, 2016

Underclassmen (9th – 11th Grade) Registration Schedule:
• Wednesday, April 27th   – Thursday, July 28th
• All underclassmen must have registered and entered class by Thursday, July 28th  
• Underclassmen who do not complete their course by August 11, 2016 may continue the course in the next Term (September 2016) by contacting their guidance counselor to secure and complete the 2016-2017 Co-Enrolled Admission Form.

Attendance/Withdrawal Policy:

• Student must remain in class for 4 hours per night. Failure to remain in class for the 4 hours will result in an absence.
• The total maximum allowable absence are five (5) days per 18 week term.
• Withdrawal: On the 6th absence the student will be withdrawn from the course.
• No excused absences.

How To Enroll:

You must be referred by your school’s guidance counselor or designee and have the Term C-2016 Co-Enrolled Admission Form with you when you register. The counselor or designee must select the appropriate location to enroll for class(es), complete and sign the Term C-2016 Co-Enrolled Admission form and give you the original form to present to the enrolling school at the time of registration. Session #2 – Term C 2016(Open to all students)

INFORMATION – SESSION 2 ONLY:

• The 2016 Summer Term C officially begins Thursday, April 27th.  Students may enroll in class until June 30th.
FREE breakfast will be provided for students attending Dave Thomas Education Center.

Session Date:

• Monday, June 20th  – Thursday, August 11th – (Monday – Thursday (4(four) days per week) –
4 hours per day – DAY CLASSES ONLY

Registration Dates:

Monday, May 23rd  – Thursday, June 30th

Summer Graduation Date:

Thursday, August 11, 2016
