The first step towards attaining your adult high school diploma is to visit your nearest participating campus during registration hours and meet with a guidance counselor, who will speak with you about your goals and confirm how many credits you need to graduate. We have several locations conveniently located throughout Broward County and southern Florida — just check out our website for the campus nearest you!
The Adult High School Diploma program embraces an “open exit” environment, meaning you can participate as often or as little as you like. You can also supplement your classroom work with 24/7 computer access to software programs covering English, Science, Math, and Social Studies. Once you acquire the mandatory 24 credits and a GPA of at least 2.0 on a 4.0 scale, you can take the FSA (Florida Standards Assessments) and the HSCT (High School Competency Test). A passing grade on one of these two tests is required for graduation.
You can enroll in Broward Community Schools’ Adult High School Diploma program for as little as $50 and embrace a brighter future that will boost your professional and personal growth. Get started by contacting us today, we’re one of the foremost community schools serving Fort Lauderdale!
