Learn All About the GED Prep Program at Broward Community Schools

Getting a GED can open up a lot of doors but preparing for the exam on your own can be quite difficult. Why not enroll in our GED classes instead? At Broward Community Schools, we offer flexible scheduling and the opportunity to work with qualified instructors who will help you learn at your own pace.

Here’s what students need to know.

GED Program Schedule

It can be hard to find the time to further your education. We totally understand. That’s why we have made it a priority to offer our GED classes at so many of our community school locations. We have online classes and in-person classes that are held at nearly all hours of the day and even some at night.

There is also an open-entry and open-exit program for some of these classes. You can enter or exit a program at any time, as long as you’re getting the instruction that you need and making progress. If you’re pursuing your GED in Broward County, you’ll find that you have plenty of options for prep classes at our community schools.

What is Covered in GED Classes?

These classes cover everything that is on the GED exam. This test can generally be broken down into four different subject areas. You’ll study science, social studies, mathematics, and language arts with the help of an experienced instructor.

By the end of the course you’ll have all of the information that you need to succeed when you take the test for your adult high school diploma.

Why Should I Get a GED?

A GED can open up many more options to you. The first benefit is that simply prepping for the exam and taking our GED classes can help you gain more knowledge and grow your skill set. The GED itself can allow you to pursue more educational opportunities, whether you’re interested in community college, a four-year university program, or trade school. It can also help you in your hunt for a job.
