Adult student will be instructed on the four techniques of clay: pinch, slab, coil and wheel throwing, for the beginners to the advance students. There will be exciting groups projects and opportunity for personal design. Sculpture is an option. Please bring to first day of class: Basic Pottery Tool kit can be purchased @ Michael's or Amazon.Suggested tools - basic Clay kit. Classes runs: 03/31, 4/7,14,21,28, 5/5,12,19.

Clay; Hand Building Pottery and Sculpture
W 6:00PM – 9:00PM
Northeast Community School
A variety of basic & advanced techniques for creating 3 dimensional sculptures in ceramic clay. Open to beginning, intermedite and advanced students. Advanced students get advice while working on personal projects. Small, relaxed, friendly classes. Additional Materials: Although your fingers are the best tools available, other tools are few and cheap. Clay can be purchased in class.

Woodworking II

Taravella High Community School
This class is designed for those who are proficient in basic woodworking and have knowledge of the various tools. Students can work on their own projects with teacher's assistance or the teacher will guide you through a set project. If you are working on a set project, please bring pine board that is at least 4 1/2" wide, 36" long, 3/8" thick. Board must be straight. Can be bought at most big-box hardware stores.

Taravella High Community School
This intro to woodworking course will teach you all the necessary skills to become safe and proficient with the most common wood shop tools. Eight selected projects will highlight specific skills that can be used to make hundreds of others. On the first night of class, students must bring Pine board that is at least 4 1/2" wide, 36" long, 3/8" thick. Board must be straight. Can be bought at most big-box hardware stores. No class 9/7/21

Activity Fee:
A $20.00 Student Activity Fee is charged one time per person, per campus, per school year. This fee is used to offset the costs of providing school security and campus-related activities.

Registration for BCSOnline Instruction Center http://www.ed2go.com/bcsonline, our 24/7 internet based learning center, is ALWAYS OPEN for REGISTRATION. In-person registration is continuously available for GED and Adult General Education classes.
