Painting class for beginners to advanced students. We will explore painting techniques, elements of art and create wonderful paintings. For the first class, bring a tabletop/collapsible easel, 8 "x 10" canvas, tube starter paint set in acrylic or oil, odorless turpentine if using oil, assorted paint brushes, a cup, and a palette. Learn to draw and paint people in this fun and supportive figurative and portrait art class. Using pencil, soft pastels, watercolor, and oil paint, students will explore how to capture the human face and figure with accuracy and expression. We'll cover basic proportions, shading, and color techniques while working from photos and life. All levels are welcome, and each student will be guided at their own pace. A $20.00 Student Activity Fee is charged one time per person, per campus, per school year. This fee is used to offset the costs of providing school security and campus-related activities.

Registration for BCSOnline Instruction Center http://www.ed2go.com/bcsonline, our 24/7 internet based learning center, is ALWAYS OPEN for REGISTRATION. In-person registration is continuously available for GED and Adult General Education classes.
